Argan, rhassoul and hard water

Most Moroccan haircare answers a specific problem: water hard enough to leave hair coated and dull. Rhassoul was used as a shampoo long before anyone sold it as one, because a clay rinses out cleanly where a surfactant can leave residue behind. Argan does the other half of the job, and very little of it is needed.

Ingredient lists matter more in this category than anywhere else on the site. An oil sold as argan can be mostly something cheaper, and the only way to know is to read the INCI — which is published in full on every product page here.
